What to know
Clocks went back on 25 October, so launch night is on GMT (UTC+0), and midnight GMT is midnight UTC. Ireland and Portugal unlock at the same moment.
Most of mainland Europe (Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands) unlocks an hour earlier, at 11pm GMT. Australian players get in at 1pm GMT on Wednesday, and US East Coast players at 5am GMT on Thursday.
Pre-loading opens on Thursday 12 November. Physical copies contain a download code rather than a disc, so a boxed copy still needs the full download. The leaked 210 GB PS5 size takes roughly 5 hours 50 minutes on an 80 Mbps fibre line.
